Welcome to The Car Shop! We are a
husband and wife family business. My husband, Joe, has been
in the automotive service business for 37 years and auto sales for
over 30 years. In the early years many customers would come
to him for advice before they purchased a car or bring it to our
shop to get it checked out first. So came the idea of 'why
not buy directly from a certified mechanic?'
Originally we started out with maybe two or three cars for sale
next to our U-Haul rentals but it didn't take long to move out the
truck rentals to display more cars. I think customers felt
more comfortable buying from a mechanic that personally serviced
that car and not dealing with the stereo-typical slick car
salesman! I personally do not enjoy being pressured by
salespeople when I am shopping. I think it is important to
look around first and comparison shop. That is why we
developed our
weekly "flyer" advertisement. Our entire
inventory is listed with mileage, pricing information and more.
We believe in honest straight-forward representation of all our
vehicles with the best possible customer service we can provide.
It is more rewarding to help a customer find the right vehicle
with the best financing plan available than how much profit we
make. You can't put a price tag on customer satisfaction!
We strive to put the excitement back in car buying and make sure
every vehicle that leaves our lot is a good one!
